The controller of your data is Club d'Escacs Sant Cugat, a non-profit sports association based at Casal Cultural de Mira-sol, C/ de Mallorca, 42, 08195 Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona). For any question about your data, you can write to santcugatescacs@gmail.com.

What data we collect and why

We only collect the data you provide voluntarily through the forms on this website:

• Full name, to identify you as a member or participant.
• Email address, to reply to you and manage your registration.
• Phone number, to contact you about the club's activity (optional).
• Date of birth, to determine your membership or tournament category.

We use this data solely to manage your membership, process your federation licence and handle tournament registrations. We do not use it for advertising or share it for commercial purposes.

Legal basis

The legal basis for processing is your consent, which you give by ticking the corresponding box and submitting the form. You can withdraw this consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

How long we keep the data

We keep your data for as long as you are a member of the club or as long as needed to manage your registration, and afterwards only for the periods required by law. When it is no longer necessary, we delete it securely.

Who we share the data with

We do not sell or share your data for commercial purposes. Data is stored with technology providers that supply the website's hosting and infrastructure, processing it on our behalf and with the appropriate safeguards. If you request the federation licence, we share the necessary data with the Catalan Chess Federation to process it.

Your rights

You can exercise the rights granted by data-protection law at any time:

• Access, to know what data of yours we process.
• Rectification, to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure, to ask us to delete your data.
• Objection and restriction, to object to the processing or ask us to restrict it.
• Portability, to receive your data in a structured format.
